Originally from Presque Isle, Maine, Scott is a proud graduate of the University of Maine Presque Isle. He recently sold his financial services firm, Barresi Financial, to United Insurance, where he now serves as a Senior Account Executive.
Scott lives in Bangor with his beautiful wife, Dena, and their daughter, Claire—who, lucky for us, is also becoming part of the Rotary family! 💙
🌀 Scott’s Rotary journey began in 2006 with the Bangor club before he found his true Rotary home right here in Old Town.
“My boss told me I had to join,” Scott laughs. “He was a 25-year Rotarian who saw the value—and now, so do I.”

🍁 Runs a small-batch maple syrup operation
💜 One of Scott’s greatest passions is Rotary’s Polio Plus initiative—eradicating polio worldwide. But what makes the Old Town club truly special to him?
