Wow! Great venue, great food, great friends...that's as good as it gets.

The DG reception at McLaughlin's at the Marina was an Area 9 event and once again Old Town was well represented.  We feasted on succulent shrimp, a tantalizing assortment of cheeses, colorful veggies with dip, and to die for bacon wrapped scallops.  There was plenty of fellowship to go around and we were all happy to see PDG Steve and his charming wife Debbie again.  And of course the man and lady of the hour, DG Norm and his gracious and lovely wife Carol were there to meet us and have a good time - Maine style.

We had fun and even learned a few things:

1) do not make faces at the newsletter editor when she has a camera in her hand....
2) remember to pay your bar tab before you leave....
3) our AG Scott is a pretty cool guy....
4) our Area 9 has some really fun people in it.....
and last but not least
5) someone finally came up with the right descriptor for Bugsy.....it has been determined that he is "unique".

For those of you who didn't make it - we missed you.  And for everyone whether you were there or not, if you want to see a few photos of the event, as usual there is a photo album in the left column.
