Greetings Rotarians, For the weekly meeting this week, we will join forces with our Interact Club to hold another Potluck and BINGO night at Marsh Island Senior Housing. The Rotary and Interact Clubs with both provide the dinner, drinks, and paper supplies. So far, we have plenty of dinner meats, lasagna, and desserts. If Rotarians could fill in with salads, sides, rolls and butter, drinks, and plates/napkins/silverware, that would be great! The residnets are excited we are coming again, and there are already 22 of them signed up. Please arrive around 5 pm, with dinner served by 5:45 pm. Bingo will follow dinner, and Interact will have prizes for 3 to 5 games depending on time. When you respond to this invite by Wednesday at noon, please put in the comment section what you will be bringing if bringing something, or just let Keri know by responding to this email or calling/texting 207-852-3037. Greetings, This year's holiday party will be at Black Bear Cinemas 6 Stillwater Ave. in Orono, located next to Bell's IGA (Previously called: Spotlite Cinemas). We have rented a theater just for Rotary! Please invite your family and friends. We have about 100 seats available. I will be inviting Rotarians from other clubs, too. Tonight's show: National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation PG-13 run time: 1:37min It's Christmastime, and the Griswolds are preparing for a family seasonal celebration. But things never run smoothly for Clark, his wife Ellen, and their two kids. Clark's continual bad luck is worsened by his obnoxious family guests, but he manages to keep going, knowing that his Christmas bonus is due soon. What you need to know: Dinner is not included tonight. Please arrange to have dinner prior to arrival. Please contact Linda Bryant if you are interested in joining her and others for dinner at Governor's for the buffet. Please arrive at the theatre by 6:00 pm for a some trivia fun before the movie. (Fabulous prizes!) Treats at the Snack Bar will be available for purchase. Alcohol (beer & wine) will be available for purchase. The movie will start at 6:30 pm. $10 per person adult $8 per person (12 and under and seniors 55+). ***Be sure to mention Rotary when you pay at the door so you are directed to the correct theatre.
